Curation notes
Ten journeys a month, read by hand against the season. No rankings by popularity, no sponsorship, no invented numbers.
PureSoul Cycling is written by the PureSoul Cycling curation desk — the same small editorial group that keeps Walking, Running and Hiking to one shared standard. We have ridden long-distance routes across Europe, Central America and the Andes, and we read the rest the way any careful rider would: slowly, with a suspicion of superlatives.
Before the September list was fixed, each candidate was checked against four seasonal signals:
We do not rank by popularity, accept payment for placement, republish route data, or write a Soul Score of our own. The score beside each journey is the official figure BicycleMovement publishes for that route — serenity, soul, beauty and regeneration, out of one hundred — mirrored here exactly. Where a route has no perfect match, we say so on the card rather than quietly approximating.
Full technical routes, GPX files, offline maps and advanced planning tools live on BicycleMovement. PureSoul Cycling is the seasonal curation layer above it — a monthly reading, nothing more. Every journey opens on its official page there, unchanged.
Seasons move, roads close, ferries change. If something here has drifted from the ground, tell us and we will correct it in the next edition — write to us.
